Been wanting to take the Green 1200 coupe down to Mt Cotton for years , so on the weekend it had it`s first event there , 1st run the track was was very damp from pasting showers about 10 mins before the run, so it was a very cautious & slipery run , the next couple of runs the track condtions were good but , i was more concerned with stopping the car without locking tyres at the hair pin with out going in the peanut shells , with a bit of fine tuning on the brake bias towards the rear , the brakes pull up great . On the last run the start was average and the clutch pedal managed to stay stuck on the floor briefly , so it was a slower run ,
My fastest run was the 3rd run @ 45.84sec which was enough to win the class for the day , i recon i could knock another second off the time with a bit of fine tuning to the car and the driver getting to know the track , i was reving the engine to 8000rpm in 3rd and could have changed up a gear out of the corners , but didn`t want to go any faster till i had the brake bias set up correctlly.so there is time to be made in a few areas ,
