What gains can be made by taken the 3 leaf springs off a 120 y 4 leaf rear spring assembley.

Then removing the 2 leafs off the main leaf of a 1200 (coupe) and fitting the 3 from the 120 y spring assembley.

Will this firm up the rear end?

I want to firm up the rear end in the 1200 coupe but retain the original ride height. I do not want to lower the vehicle.
