You never can tell. Some people buy a datto with the good intentions to fix 'em up but don't realise just how much works involved. Others lose interest (like you've said yourself), while some have unexpected problems arise.

You also have to look at the fact that some datto's just can't be saved. My first sedan was quite rusty and probably could never be returned to street. I gave up on her and now she's someone's junior speedway car, no doubt slaughtering all those worthless Corolla's.

I guess what I'm trying to say is one man's loss is anothers gain.
