Theres allways a risk of bending or damaging the strip - especially if there old and rusted on. There just held on by 4-5 clips. If the clips are rusted into the door you may have a problem getting them off. But - the best way - i have found - is just to roll the window grab it firmly at one end - and just try to reef it up. Dont know how much more help i can give except just try to be careful??
