lpg tanks usally work of a float mechanisam just like ur standed petrol tank so i guess who u where talking too were thinking or some sort of pressure sender.u should be able to get a gauge to match the sender already in the tank try ashdowns or ingrams if urve got em where u are. u'll probley need to measure the ohms resistence of ur tank sender when at full and empty.

Yes you do need your lpg ticket for work on the high pressure side of lpg. u can work on the low pressure side with out one and i think u may be able to work on the electric's without one but not sure on that one mabey someone with there ticket can clear this up, beattie do u have a ticket or know if u can work on the electrics??
