Yes, you can suckthrough pretty much any carb. Blown motors aren't as suseptiable to the problems that turbo motors carbs are. cos the boost comes on instantly.
You may as well run it undecompressed to start with. Water injection can work wonders to limit detonation, and can be home made for peanuts.
The twin pulley crank pulley isn't really suitable as a blower drive. I run a custom crank pulley. The twin pulley ones are hollow inside the outer pulley, so you can't really turn off the outer pulley and bolt a blower drive pulley to the inner one.
