On a more positive note - the "Post New Thread" button (the grey one in the top right of your screen) starts a whole new thread so no-one knows what your reply is about.

if you hit the reply button (in someones post in your thread) then it adds another post into your thread.

If you keep created new threads who knows what you are replying too.

There are other forums where the reply button is where the new thread button is on 1200.com so I can see how the mistake is made.
