Hi mate good luck with your search, they were an option in Oz and I tried all the avenues back in the 80"s to get one all wreckers Nissan dealers you name it I tried it.
I did manage thru pure dumb luck to get one, a guy with a ute had one that was stuffed so I swapped a few bits he needed.
I have replaced the workings with a battery operated mechanism.
I would ask the OS guys as in oz they are impossible to find
