yep been down this road. Hydrogen is way too explosive and dangerous as fuel for a car unless in a sealed hydrogen fuel cell and they have been round for many years. They also are very dangerous BTW just asked the crew of Apollo 1. Anyway the cell you made was a simple stage 1 electrolisis cell to spearate hydrogen anf oxygen. The power to separate the hydrogen is more than the power it makes and is therefore useless as a fuel source. There have been reports of these cells becoming a stage 2 and 3 cell emitting a little known substance called orgone which was a sub atomic particle discovered by Tesla (a russian Scientist?). Anyway this orgone given off by the cell is supposed to fuel the car. Now this intrugues me as alot of hippies have gottn a hold of this and they cry consiparcy theory when someone gets one to supposedly work, they all go underground claiming the oil companies want to kill them etc etc.
Anyway i think that if they are serious they would come out in the open, but I believe its probably a hoax. The are many internet pages around and its called a Joe cell, named after a guy called Joe in Coffs Harbour NSW (who incidentally has also gone into hiding). Apparently he had the first working model on a car after his grandfather passed on the story to him from the army, where appraently they used them on tanks in WW2 to greatly extend the range and power.
Look we would all love the magic silver bullet and i would especiallt love to the see the arab fuel consortiums get smashed by a simple renewable or free fuel, so I can drive my datsun and internal combustion engine in peace. But I believe it will come from some battery technology rather than hydrogen. its just plain too dangerous (remeber the biggest bomb ever exploded was a 59megaton hydrogen device the Russians set off where the fireball alone was the radius of London). I dont like the stuff.
Oh by the way this is supposed to work with implosion not explosion with timing advanced by 70 degrees!!
