Datto dude is right. Your buying someone's word when buying a half cut. Sitting around in Japan, then cut up, sit some more, thrown around into containers, stacked on top of each other - you get the point... Most yards are pretty good because their reputation is important to them. but, some are just after a buck. I bought a CA18det off a guy who was going SR20det and I could test drive it in the car, perform all tests - comp check, blow smoke, oil preassure etc. Look around with a little bit of patience and maybe might be a little cheaper too.
