Webers versus Dellortos is down to personal preference

Then I would hands down prefer Webers over Dellortos. I bought a set recently only to discover that the actuator pump has a small hole that a arm goes through from the throttle shaft. This is worn aswell as this arm thingy that connect to it. Webers apparently don't have this thing that can wear and I would even say that it was a really stupid design from the Dellorto engineers.Almost all Dellortos I have seen have this wear while Weber people don't even know about wear in their carbs.
I can get now second hand replacements but just the thought in the back of my mind that it can wear out again makes me wanna get rid of them and get webers.

Dump the Dellortos idea and rather go for webers.
