First up sorry becuase I'm sure this question has been asked before but I have spent some time on the wiki page and searching through posts.

I know the GX ports are larger than standard A12 round and also larger than the A14/15 oval - taller infact as I understand.

My question is can I either
A.) Port my A12 to match the GX intake?
or will opening them up this much bring it too close to water jackets in the head.

or

B.) swap to an A14 head and then open the ports up on that?
