G"day dudes

I was about to bolt my landcruiser calipers to my strut when I realised that the different piston sizes in the 60 series calipers might mean it's import that the calipers are on the correct sides.

My reasoning was that the different piston sizes meant from the same pressure they create different forces on the pad. There must have been some reasoning for this by Mr toyota but I'm not sure what.

Currently I have my struts swapped around to mount the caliper on the front which means the large piston is up and therefore touching the disc first with the smaller piston touching second when rolling forward. How have others done this and can anybody share some theory about potential pad tapering?
