Nah- your not biased... Bosch stuff if first rate! The Germans can not be compared to the crap built in the UK! The dark ages electrics used in many of the old UK cars was LUCAS

My old BMWs have never had any problems, and they are all Bosch. Also most Nissan stuff is either Bosch or Denso knockoffs of Bosch.
Daimlers are hand built Jaguars, so yeah - they would certainly have the best of British workmanship in them, so they should be good. Those 50's ones are often V8's too... NICE!!
