It is doable without cutting and hacking rubbers unless your rubber is shagged then just get a stanley knife and cut the rubber away from the inside. Otherwise to remove it sit in the passenger or drivers seat get a flat blunt object like a big old worn screwdriver. Put it in the rubber from the top left or right corner get your feet on the glass near the corner you start in and as your roll the rubber outwards with the screwdriver push with your feet and do this all the way along the top be sure to keep rolling the rubber as you go along pushing. To get it started you will need to give it quite a push but don't jolt or kick the screen. Once you get a start in one corner it will come easy. Just did one the other day and have done many this way over the years working in wreckers. You have to work your way across the top then exit the car and pull the rubber and screen upwards together.
