Drive the old rust bucket for a while then find one with a good shell but crap mechanicals.............swap a roo and you're done.

As for the wife and old cars, My wife's friends ask how she deals with my hobby.........her answer for years has been he's not hanging out in the pub and it keeps me mellow.
