Nope, it doesn't have anti-slosh baffles. The crack in the hose is a problem, even a pinpoint leak will cause a smell. remember on a sedan, the hose IS in the passenger compartment, only the seat fabric is blocking the fumes. When you turn a corner, yes the fuel will go up into the filler hose. Been there, done that.

Also be sure your tank breather line is fitted correctly and not blocked. I had one 1200 that spit fuel out onto the side of the car.
