Ok sooo, I haven been here in a long while.
My datsun died back in sept

I have a 1977 datsun b210
I no longer have any egr equipment the only vacum line I have is to the distro advance thing.

I tried to clean up my engine bay one night and I guess I got water where there wasn't supposed to be any because it wouldn't start after that.

I let it dry out over night, and it started the next morning, but ran crappy.

I drove it approximately 5 miles then cut it off.
After that it refused to start.

It back fires violently out the carb, no flames or anything. I have checked it over many times and cannot find any(new) vacum leaks.

I am at my wits end.

Any body have any suggestions?
