Reminds me of when we raced karts before they introduced wet weather tyres, we used to pump the slicks up to 40psi soften the kart up to try and get some heat into the tyres and had to turn in about 10metres early and stay off the race line, we only had 13hp and that felt like 900hp in the rain.
