yeah looks like we get the raw deal here in nsw.
my qld plates currently on the car cost nix and they are mine, pretty much the same deal as you wa guys without the having to be in storage when not displayed.qld'ers can keep them in a drawer at home till your ready to use em.
mine will have to come off in a year as i still have an adress up in qld till then.
