Need a bit of info!
A) Scored a pair of "MONZA" sports seats at right price.
1: Are they leagal fitment in the coupe in Qld without engineering cert?
2: Any fabrication issues in the fitting I should I know about?
3: Am I going to run into problems with the STD seat belts, will I be fitting harness type belts.
B) Betty's plant has given up the ghost . The plan to rebuild has been bought forward. So! I want to build her A12 up bullet proof using top quality components without going HiPo. I have a recoed A15 head, bike carbs(manifold being fabricated in S/S, have aquired extractors and ceramic clutch, already have slightly lightened and balanced flywheel. I need a good set of rods eg; Shot Piened "I" beam. Hi temp flat top pistons, tri metal bearings and good quality gaskets. Electronic ignition will be a must. I will be using a Tighe cam, twin or tripple row timming set. Do they make a gear drive set to suit? Also I was thinking about remote oil filtration and electric pumping (Fleetguard). Alloy fuel tank and electric pump are also on list. Being out here in Bilbiland I will have to order all this stuff in so I will want to get it right.
Your recomendations based on your vast knowledge would be of great help. I have been out of touch with sort of gear for some time being an old fart and all
