Thanks for your reply. Actually, I saw the pics for the Mitsubishi/Hyundai manifold earlier. Given that the X2 Excel could be easily found in an Aussie wrecking yard, complete with manifold.

I'd take it with some die grinding, and moving the throttle body to the opposite side of the manifold, this would make a good candidate for an inexpensive EFI manifold. Question is, even though the section between the inlets would have to be cut, would this still clear the exhaust?

As for the Megasquirts, they sound pretty good for the price, even if some assembly is required. Well, seeing as I'm doing Electronics and Computer Systems Engineering at TAFE, maybe I can count soldering up on of these for some recognition of prior learning, lol.
