Im using 5/16 on my coupe with a stock CA18DET. I have a Goss motorsport fuel pump and have had no issues with 5/16 fuel lines.

Unless you are going to be chasing huge Hp the 5/16 lines would be adequate.

Dont know where you are located but in WA Fuel lines under the car have to be steel bundy tube.

5/16 - 7.9 mm
3/8 - 9.52 mm

I used the original 1/4 line as purge to the charcoal canister
