Ironic you mention the Mid-close for the street, that is exactly what I was thinking. I try to keep the car near streetable because I have the title and with the way race cars land in my lap I could end up with another single seater, as the wife as forbid the sale of the car a 3rd time, putting it back on the street would ensure it got driven. Plus my son is now 15 and he and his friends think Dad's Datsun is a cool old school car, it might make him a him a car he could drive to Autocross. He has said he couldn't have a 1200 as a daily driver becuase he'd worry about it be stolen.
In the meantime, I'll be installing an O2 sensor to see what the SU's are really doing. The car runs solid but you never know till you check.
