I just got off the phone with a few fitters and they charge anywhere from 800-1000 for a tank so this price is even better for what you are getting. It wont beat sourcing your own 100 dollar tank from the wreckers still in date but Im after strictly after weight savings and a compact coversion in my wagon. Also the spare will fit in the boot area behind the rear seat where the tank was on the original sedan and the wagon will have the spare where the back seat was which is no longer there as Ive modded it for a tray and also houses an AGM 8kg battery from a super v8 car throwaway (they usually use them once).

Thanks for the pic of the 1000 conversion if the ppi tank of 307mm height is used there instead it would be up to 40 percent more capacity.

Unfamilia who did your conversion? as Im thinking of using a factory Nikki LPG carb from a 200B LPG wagon that Ive found recently. Its a double barrel with an L series downdraft bolt up pattern. When I first saw it I couldnt believe it as I thought is was a petrol carb until I spotted the mixer on the firewall.
Ive looked the carb up and they retail for about 430-500USD. So a good score for $35 bucks.
