My wags had a back-yard disc brake converion which work to great effect. It consists of 1200/120y discs/calipers, and a couple of easly made (with a MIG, drill/press, vice) brackets, from memory it was 18x6 strap.
I`ll see if I can`t find some pics of this set-up.
A couple of years ago I had to put the old girl on one of those road-side brake/suspension testing devices, there was a long line of falcadorlines getting tickets for all sorts of things (mainly for braking issues and illeagal mods.) I was quite concerned as all my mods have never seen an engineer and I know for a fact that the A12 from the 1200 is as big as you can go, and disc brake conversions need to be certified. I drove away with the inspector saying that my brakes were the best they tested all night (somthing about my car testing to 95% and that 50% was a pass) Cheers, GO THE DAT!
