my engine is series 4 rx7. i have to get the front cover changed to 12a so the motor could be mounted from the front.
i bought a rx4 crossmember with 2x engine mounts. then went and seen a steel fabricator and got him to bend to the same shape as the engine mounts a 8mm mild steel bar. ive got a pic of it. i used an rx4 sump on the engine. the pan for the sump sits at the front of the engine to allow for room. i cut the main x member out so i could fit the engine as low and as far back as i could. if anyone wants pics of what ive done then pm me your email and il send them through. i had to get a custom trans tunnel made. also my gearbox shifter was moved fwd 5 inches to give me more room. cheers lex
