The ZX wheels have more negative offset.
So fitting the wheels to stock Datsun 1200 struts will reduce track.

Also, the tech article says the 280ZX hub brings the wheels in closer, thus reducing track.

Maybe someone can measure the wheels. Stock wheels have a +30 offset.
