Came so close to getting it started today, but decided to hold-off until all the right parts were available/on-site.
Big thanks to Gylezy [The 'CONT'] for all his help, gun-welder is all I can say!
We managed to avoid any cutting and modification of the Tailshaft so it has all come together pretty smoothly. I'll let the pictures do the talking.
I have an entire catalog of pictures so just ask if you're after anything specific.
We didn't have the time to make the reverse switch fit so we ended up cutting and shutting the switch.
Here are some pictures of how the gearbox lines up with the existing bolts holes. Pretty substantial mis-alignment really. I decided to keep to the original gearbox mount holes as I wasn't prepared to bolt through the floor!
And the cutting and filling of the reverse switch. We were spewing we couldn't get it to fit as it was only a matter of 5 or so millimeters but cutting the trans tunnel just wasn't an option.
Most of the switch was sliced with just enough excess to latch a ring spanner onto.
How good is this photo Dan?!
Here are the rims that unfamilia sent to me from Melbourne, thanks again Mik I hope it was worth all the trouble. I'm getting these painted next week, maybe.
Hope to have it running over the weekend.
