No not yet, I have some jet drill bits here that I might try out. I'm surprised why you think the mains jets would affect the idle. At the moment I'm having enough difficulty just trying to get it to idle smoothly, and smooth acceleration from there upward is difficult to acquire so I'm more inclined to muck around with the pilots jets. There are built-in pilot holes (forgot what they're called) that I think are blocked or something. I'll try a few things first.

If it doesn't get any better I'm going to pull them down and check them again (the carbs).
