The reason the Sunny struts are not a direct fit is the centre to centre distance of the holes that bolt the strut to the steering arm are wider on the Sunny. To fit them you need the complete corner - lower control arm, steering arm, balljoint & castor arm.If you're wrecking a Sunny & have all those parts, go for it. If you only have the struts, a better bet is the struts from a post 76 120Y sedan. These have the same centre to centre distance as the 1200 so they bolt to the 1200 steering arm, the disc & caliper is same size as the Sunny brakes,if not larger, & you only have to change the strut tops to the original 1200 ones for a real bolt in. You just can't run your original 12 inch steel wheels, you have to get 120y ones. Not much of a drawback, to my way of thinking.

Would it be possible to get a late model Nissan Micra, fit the 1.8 litre motor from a Tiida & then turbocharged it? Your answer must include parts numbers for the conversion. You have 12 months. Commence.
