Ok, I have my standard A12 in my ute. Now if I buy a GX head and chuck it on. What sorta work am I going to be looking at to get the rest of the engine up to scratch? Now, I'm only 16, but I have a fairly good pay package coming in each week, thanks to not having bills to pay. So what I wanted to ask was. If I get the GX head, can I bore the cylinders out, put larger pistons in, put some nice newish carbs on, port and polish and put a set of tuned extractors on? Is this too much for the old A12 to handle? Will I have problems with reliability? If any of you experienced fellas can share some light that would be hugely appreciated!

Thanks.
