Just wondering if anyone knows who can straighten and rechrome bumpers in WA
had some nice person hit my 68 corona (yes I know it's a toyota but dont hold it against me) passing me on the inside on a single lane street in the bicycle lane literally about 20metres from my friends house so he's completely at fault.
luckily the damage to my car was very minor , just pushed the bumper in and rubbed some paint from the wheelarch. his car was a different story. I'm sorry for the guy as he was from queensland and over for his dads 60th or something and it was a hire car with less than 700km on it. I'm going to be fair and charge him only for the bumper and do the bodywork myself. Just a little annoyed as it was a new bumper last year. does anyone know anyone who can handle this work in Perth and what might it cost? luckily its a 3 piece bumper and the damage is relegated to the passenger side corner piece. he was good about it and didnt call police and was going to take a picture of it in a carpark and say it happened there. I just need to get a quote so I can get some money off him before he/ we forget about it. Was pretty crook at the time because of all the hours I've spent on it fixing the head gasket and eliminating all the clueless about mechanics bodges. thanks anyway, Tom.
