First up - a big bucket to catch all the transmission fluid. You probably need to get a bush for the back of the crank that the snout of the input shaft sits inside, though I seem to remember swapping 2 Auto A15's to manual & they might have both had it already. What sort of a transmission do you have? If it's the smaller box, you'll have to source the gearbox crossmember. If it's the larger 60 series 4 or 5 speed, you can use the existing crossmember, probably with some washers between the rubber mount & the gearbox to get it level. You'll also need to bridge around the neutral safety switch, I just put a bridger wire in the connector for the safety switch & the reverse light that was up near the battery.Otherwise I don't think it'll crank over. The auto is longer than the manuals, so you'll definitely have to source a manual driveshaft,& the splines on the back of the gearbox are different as well. Good luck with the swap.

Would it be possible to get a late model Nissan Micra, fit the 1.8 litre motor from a Tiida & then turbocharged it? Your answer must include parts numbers for the conversion. You have 12 months. Commence.
