Mid engined V6 now ya talking! :) I think the biggest problem doing an engine transplant in a 1000 is the transmission tunnel is TINY, I had to modify the clutch fork on a sunny 4 speed
to make it fit.. fitting a larger box like a CA would probably require a larger tunnel, and I don't know how you'd go about doing that without making the chassis weaker..

I've spoken to a guy who has put a VG20 into a 1200 coupe, the engine was a japanese import, aparently they are a de-stroked 2 litre version of the 300zx VG30, sounds like a nice swap,
very torquey engine.
