> Find TDC of cylinder #1 by looking at the the valves and the timing mark on your pulley.

Looking at the valves means:
1. Remove the rocker cover
2. Rotate engine until TDC marks line up
3. Check to see if both rockers for 1st cylinder have play
4. If they don't, rotate the engine a full turn
5. Verify that rockers for cylinder #1 have play

That's TDC of the No. 1 cylinder.
