Datsun 1200 stock wheels are 30mm offset.

Datsun 1200 has the same track width 1240mm front 1245mm back. With 4" wheels and +30mm offset, wider wheels will be quite different.

Wider tire advantage probably outweigh any disadvantage from the changed track, roll center and bumpsteer changes. For a street car, at least.
