Once I remember i had the same issue,what i did Gave a nice Air compressor into line (close one side and put the air compressor from the other side and open it keeping few seconds because of the high pressure inside it will clean nicely),and took my tank off put it in the lake washed nicely putting water for several times and brought it kept for hot sun for sometime and put some petrol inside and cleaned it final round,so still i dont have any issue with fuel system
