Seems the reason was lost in the cut and paste job.

Me and my girlfriend decided to buy a house, I needed around $7,000-$10,000 to finish the car and have it on the road, but we needed to save for a house deposit, I originally went to sell the whole project but decided to just sell off the diff/motor/turbo etc, probably made a good $5000 from parts and am now just making my daily. It was a bit of a shame but I am happy enough just to keep it and get my own place.

When I get enough money after purchase of a house I will be putting an L20B or similar in it with a good twin weber setup to make it a bit more fun.

Biggest shame is I had an a15/5 speed I let go for $250 before I even started the conversion, wish I had known what they were worth ;).
