i have a 1200 sedan and I went to the local scrap yard and after seeing an online ad for some custom bits from a "old school jdm ride" what i found that interested me was this pair of front struts and brakes.. the guy says they came off a datsun 510 and can work on 120y's and 910 etc and should work on my 1200 sedan.

they are JIC Magic Coilovers
They have the ball joint mount and steering knuckle welded onto the strut housing (not shown in these photos unfortunately)
they have pillow ball adjustable camber plates..

I got the guy to agree to swap them to S13 4 lugs for me if i decide to buy them - so thats taken care of

I was wondering what was the mount on the top of the strut tube? its not the brake line mounts, it has some metal rods bolted to it.. i cant picture what they are for

I think i can easily cut them off, cause i think it will hit the body when the strut turns - what do you think??
