I sure hope your not drive as fast....................race track antics on even empty wet streets would probably get you jailed for a couple of weeks :).....................it might also be that mine are shaved for race use.

If you ever drive on wet roads in any town in the mojave desert it's like driving in the snow..............you can always tell who came from rainy climates here.................you can see there out of state "front" plate.

Back on topic, your friendly track side tire guy will be able to help out a lot with what works best locally. Track material, car setup, weight, horsepower, etc all change things radically.
