Thanks for the reply guys. The horrible weather did not eventuate. Only a lunch shower which ended up making the track the best I have seen it,two corners stayed wet due to the ground being waterlogged so mucked our times up.Pumping the R specs up seems to be the go Smaller patch on road and helps squegee (doesn't look right does it)out water from under the tyre and also helps warming up the rubber.
Ended up winning U2litre high performance class and about 5th outright so more than happy with myself and the little racecar.
