I supose it's only a job, and someones gotta do it. If you had to put with the sh1t that they do, you'd quickly lose tolerance for stupid behavior. But that said some of them decide to defect your car before they even get up to the your window.
I got stopped at a random check point in my RX3 coupe back in '99. The women was frothing at the mouth to give me a fine for something. (the car was pretty dodgey, but it looked real mint- boy'd out to hell too) When she checked all the usual stuff, license, tyres, wof, rego, cert etc I can still recall the expression on her face change to one of utter desolation when she realised she couldn't write me a ticket for anything. one nil to me be-arch!
