I too, like the Weber 32/36 [DGV-5a manual choke version] as it has alot of potential. The formula ford guys have had to use this carb type for decades now, and have developed many subtle mods to enhance its performance. Particular attention in the areas of Aux vent shaping and power valve function [located under the top cover]. Weber also manufacture alternate livkage kits to alter the a-synchronous fuction. Basically the secondary throat opens earlier.
