estyre: as far as i know everything im using is CA18det

ok, onto the starter/alternator wiring:

two question..

1. the black/yellow that looks to be the signal to the starter to actually go... does this need to be a significant power source. the datsun 1200 also uses a black/yellow for this but the 1200 one is quite a small "signal" wire where the CA18DET one is probably 10-15amp size

2. the black wire. looks like it connects to ECU pin 60 on the diagrams and travels with the knock sensor wire (also used on a couple of other sensors). is that just a shielding that is used along the sensor wire? im guessing so but would like to clarify. doesnt appear to come out the other end anywhere on the loom
