hi boys and girls, im now the proud owner of luke simsons purple 1200 coupe (ca18det auto)... and i'm just wondering if my turbo is blown?
I took it for a squirt up the road, 2 things:
1: When it gets to about 3000rpm it starts to miss, (kev rowley) he said the oxygen sensor might be gone.
2: Its blowing a bit of smoke.... but not when i free rev it, and after a few seconds it goes away.... there is a very little leak on the front housing (compressor housing)of the turbo, (will post a pic later) any ideas? im not to worried about the miss as i know its got a stock ecu (Autronic SM4 will be fitted soon) im not over familiar with turbo engines, use to old school webbers and stuff.
