I'd second the wrong clutch fork idea. The 60a gearbox has a longer bell housing area, so the clutch fork has a right angle at the top to allow you to use the same length clutch cable. Guess it was cheaper to make another clutch fork than another length clutch cable. As for a source of the proper clutch fork, C20 Vanettes with A15's have the correct one. The problem's going to be finding somebody open today who has the correct one. Maybe somebody can lend you one. Or you did what I did when confronted with the bigger box all those years ago & changed to the 'normal' one because 'this bent one can't be right'. Would it be possible to get a late model Nissan Micra, fit the 1.8 litre motor from a Tiida & then turbocharged it? Your answer must include parts numbers for the conversion. You have 12 months. Commence.
