I've managed to get a price for the GT Gas inserts and they were 280ish on a trade account for a pair - fair enough.

However, when I pulled the struts out I compressed them by hand against the floor and thought gee their slow (heavier dampening and also none were blown too). When I pulled them apart it turns out Monroe GT Gas inserts were already in there!

Nice suprise for me as I wont have to buy them - just springs and bump stops now. When I brought the car the seller told me that he got new shocks in the back but didn't mention anything about the front ones.

Looks like I'll get around to driving this car a bit sooner!
