Heh heh wait till you get the car then worry about that stuff.

When I went into ACT motor registry with an A14 in my 120Y in they didn't even blink. Just wrote the new numbers on the papers.

In most states an A14 is considered a replacement for an A12 so I dunno why they re stamped the A12 block (2 options spring to mind: 1 - Ex race engine/cheating and 2 - Are you are buying an A14 powered 1200 at all).

All you can do is go with the best available information. If the block you pay for says A12 then you "must" consider that you are paying for an A12 and so will insurance peeps.

It doesn't matter if you "think it might" be an A14 when you get a quote or whatever. Just go off the numbers and you will be fine.

edit - beat me to it DD!!
