the most difficult thing about a rotor conversion is getting a useable driveline angle.
even with a huge trans tunnel i ended up recessing the standard 1200 engine crossmember to
get the motor to sit as low as possible. i didnt go as far as modifying the steering drag link though.

i ended up with a slant of around 4deg from memory. remember you need to angle your diff pinion up
(to about 1 degree below the engine/gearbox angle to allow for spring wind up under load)
the angle you run isnt that important as long as its less than say 5 deg, whats more important is
that your uni-joint angles are parallel both vertically and horizontally.

take it from me, do it properly the first time. the 'it should be ok' theory, and 'i'll see how it goes'
will end up being very frustrating and expensive. i learnt the hard way.

set it up right and you'll really enjoy it. rotary 1200's are loads of fun.
